Mauro was born about 1808 in Torricella Peligna, the son of Giacinto Teti and Maria Amalia Teti.
His wife was Angela Camilla Aspromonte, who he married in 2 JUN 1830 in Torricella Peligna. Their seven known children were Giuseppe (1831-?), Giacinto (1833-1834), Giacinto (1835-?), Camillo (1838-?), Maria (1841-?), Antonio (1844-1844) and Antonio (1846-?).
