father, Mauro Teti, informed officials of the birth. Family
members were illiterate and could not sign the registry.
DEATH-CIVIL: At the age of 8 days, at 3 at night in the family
home (casa paterna). Born in Torricella Peligna to Mauro Teti,
34, and Camilla Aspromonte, both farmers, living together on
Strada delle Piane. Officials were informed of the death by the
father, Mauro Teti, and Domenico Teti, 48, farmer, living on
Strada del Forno, uncle of the deceased. The men did not sign
the registry because they did not know how to write.
