Francesco was born about 1776 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Terenziano Tedeschi and Loreta Paolantonio.
His wife was Anastasia Pizzoferrato. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Maria Teodora (c1801-?), Gemma Rosa (c1810-1811), Liberato (1812-?) and Giuseppe (1816-1819).
