Domenicangelo was born about 1840 in Gessopalena, Chieti, Italy, the son of Pietro Sambuco and Gelsomina DeFalcis.
His wife was Maria Luisa Palmieri, who he married in 14 DEC 1863. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Pietro Marco (1864-?), Vincenzo (1866-?), Donato (1868-?), Vincenzo (1870-?) and Falco (1873-?).
