Francesco was born on 17 MAY 1834 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Rocco Antonio Margiotta and Maria Crocifissa DiProspero.
His wife was Donata Santangelo, who he married on ABT 1861. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Pelino (1863-?) and Maria Michelina (1865-?).
