Carmina was born about 1757 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of Giovanni Alessandro Margiotta and Loreta Iacobucci.
Her husband was Andrea Palombizio. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Francesco Antonio (c1795-1816), Nunzio (c1795-?) and Angelo Sante (c1801-?).
