Maria was born about 1779 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of Leonardo Liberatore and Maria Santa Antonucci.
She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Nicola DiFelice, who she married in ABT 1805. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Raffaele Emiddio (1811-1822), Maria Luigia (1814-1818) and Liberata Maria (1817-1818).
Her second husband was Epifanio DiCioccio, who she married in 30 SEP 1819 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. Their only known child was Domenico Antonio (1820-?).
