Domenico was born on 28 MAR 1773 in Montorio nei Frentani, the son of Damiano Carfagnini and Maria Scolastica Mastrogiacomo.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Maria Rachele Palaia, who he married in 1804 in Montorio nei Frentani, Campobasso, Italy. Their only known child was Giovanni (1806-?).
His second wife was Maria Antonia Elisabetta Montanaro, who he married in 1820. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Nunzio Maria (1822-?), Antonio Maria (1823-?) and Maria Scholastica Rachele Benedetta (1827-?).
