Sabatino was born in 1846 in Penne, the son of Raffaele Camplese and Aurora Casimo.
His wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Carmine (1885-?), Giuseppe (1887-?) and Franco (1896-?).
