Anita ``Nita'' Fernandez, 82, of Export, died Monday, April 22, 1
at the St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born April 8, 1914, in
Ringertown (Franklin Township), a daughter of the late Costanti a
Virginia Noca Borio. Prior to her retirement, she was employed fo
years as a food service supervisor at Franklin Regional Senior Hi
School, and had also been a cook at the former Green-Del Restaura
in Hempfield Township. She was a member of St. John Baptist de La
Salle Church in Delmont, and the Rosary Altar Society of the chur
Throughout her life, she was very active in the kitchen at the
church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
brother, Archie Borio; and two sisters, Florence Clawson and Emma
Vunovich. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Angel ``Har
Fernandez; a son, Edward J. Fernandez and his wife Sandra of Evan
City; three sisters, Tillie Piser and her husband John, Stella
Cavicchio and her husband Nick, and Rose Fillar, all of Delmont;
grandsons, Michael and Edward Fernandez II; and a great-
granddaughter, Jessica Fernandez.
