Concezia was born about 1755 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the daughter of Alesio Zappone but her mother is unknown.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Cesare DiMattia, who she married in ABT 1774. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Vincenza (c1773-1834), Alesio (c1775-1852) and Domenica Maria (1777-1853).

Her second husband was Domenico Martinelli, who she married in ABT 1785 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy. Their two known children were Maria Carolina (c1786-1853) and Pietro (c1789-1860).
