Rosa was born about 1831 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the daughter of Alesandro Tempesta and Teresa Cavicchia.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Ferdinando Tranchini, who she married in 2 OCT 1853 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy. They had no known children.

Her second husband was Ferdinando Rossetti, who she married in 3 MAY 1859. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Clarinda Urbina (1861-?), Maria (1870-?) and Erminta (1872-?).
