Pietro was born about 1775 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Maria Maddalena DeStephanis, who he married in ABT 1802. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Antonio (c1806-1812), Filippo (c1808-?), Liberato Antonio (1811-?), Onofrio Pasquale (1813-?), Maria Aurora (1817-1817) and Pasqua Rosa (1818-?).
