Caterina was born about 1779 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of Pasquale Domenico Rossi and Liberata DiNino.
Her husband is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their two known children were Liberata Maria (1814-1814) and Giovanni Antonio (1815-?).
