Bartolomeo was born about 1799 in San Valentino, the son of Nicola Ascenzo and Antonia Mastro DiCasa.
His wife was Chiara DiBlasio, who he married in 11 MAR 1832 in San Valentino, Italy. Their three known children were Rosanna (1833-?), Nicolo (c1835-?) and Filomena (c1842-1862).
