Benedetto was born on 21 MAR 1826 in Campana, the son of Agostino Pozzi and Caterina Damiani.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Anna Loreta Leli, who he married on 8 JUL 1855 in Campana. Their five known children were Agnese (1856-?), Rosaria (1858-1859), Natale (1860-?), Pasquale (1864-1865) and Domenico (1870-?).
His second wife was Santa_ ? Pozzi. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Domenico (1866-1867).
