Angelo was born on 30 APR 1854 in Torricella Peligna, the son of Domenico Porreca and Preseda Pellicciotta.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Rosa Ficca, who he married on 15 OCT 1874. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Camillo (1877-?), Angela (1883-?), Virginia (1885-?), Anna Felicia (1887-?), Christina (c1890-?), Luigi (c1890-?) and Nicola (c1890-?).

His second wife was Giacinta DiMarco. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Salvatore (1893-?).
