Stefano was born about 1756 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Generoso Pizzoferrato and Maria Paolantonio.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Anna Giuseppa Antolini, who he married in ABT 1781. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Francesco (c1788-?).

His second wife was Anna Candida Domenica Palombizio, who he married on 28 JAN 1812 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. They had no known children.
