Giuseppe was born about 1772 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Giovanna Perilli, who he married in ABT 1799. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Domenico Antonio (c1800-?), Lorenzo (c1800-?), Angela Raffaela (c1805-?) and Luigi Antonio (1812-1816).
