Giovanna was born about 1777 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.
Her husband was Giuseppe Pizzoferrato, who she married in ABT 1799. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Domenico Antonio (c1800-?), Lorenzo (c1800-?), Angela Raffaela (c1805-?) and Luigi Antonio (1812-1816).
