Giuseppe was born about 1759 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Giovanna Rosato, who he married in ABT 1800. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Maria (c1800-?), Rocco (c1811-1811), Liberata Antonia (1813-1814), Virgilia (1815-1816) and Domenico Antonio (1819-1820).
