Giovanni was born about 1858 in Taranta Peligna, Chieti, Italy, the son of Angelo Pasquale and Anna Maria Canzana.
His wife was Colarinda DiNardo, who he married in ABT 1883. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Carolina (c1888-?), Nicolette (c1888-?), Cesaria Anna (1888-1980) and Genevoffa (1904-1992).
