Luigi was born on 16 FEB 1829 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Panfilo Mondazzi and Maria Cristina Antolini.
His wife was Rosina Zimei, who he married in ABT 1857. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Vincenzo (1858-?), Cristina (c1861-1863), Panfilo (1863-?) and Cristina (1865-?).
