Crescenzo was born about 1772 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Felicia Maria Santangelo, who he married in ABT 1793. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Rocco (c1794-?), Maria Crocifissa (c1798-?), Maria Nunzia (c1806-1812), Anna Domenica (c1807-1812), Maria Vincenza (c1810-1815) and Nunzio (1812-1823).
