Venanzo was born about 1780 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Paolo Lucente but his mother is unknown.
His wife was Vincenza Petrella. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Domenico Antonio (1813-1815), Rocco (1815-?) and Carlo (1818-?).
