Domenico was born about 1775 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Leonardo Liberatore and Maria Santa Antonucci.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Deodata diMarino, who he married in ABT 1800. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Anna Maria (c1809-1811).
His second wife was Maria Clementina Tarantello, who he married in ABT 1812. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Maria Santa (1813-1815), Leonardo (1815-?), Maria Santa (1817-?), Maria Rosaria (1819-1821), Maria Anna Rosa (1822-1822), Abete (1823-c1859), Cipriano (1829-?) and Alessandro (1832-?).
