Carmela was born about 1812 in Santa Maria del Ponte, the daughter of Francesco Antonio Galassi and Cesidea Maria Renzi.

She died on 29 AUG 1880 in Campana.

Her husband was Angelo D'Amore, who she married on 15 JUN 1838 in Campana, Fagnano Alto, L'Aquila, Italy. Their five known children were Giampietro (1839-1840), Rosolina (1842-?), Fiorenza (1845-?), Giustino (1848-1893) and Francesco Antonio (1853-?).
