Leonardo was born about 1753 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Matteo DiSimone and Anna Felicia Presutti.
His wife was Giovanna Carapellucci, who he married in ABT 1788. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Maria Carmina (c1793-?).
