Maria was born about 1790 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of Nunzio DiSilvestro and Candida Rosa DiBacco.
Her husband is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Rosa Geremia (1811-?), Nunzio Bonaventuro (1812-?) and Domenico Antonio (1818-?).
