Rosa was born about 1806 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of Angelo DiPillo and Innocenza DiBenedetto.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Domenico Buccilli, who she married in 26 FEB 1822 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. Their three known children were Rocco (1823-?), Loreto (1828-1830) and Sebastiano (1829-1833).

Her second husband was Giovanni DiCioccio. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Luigi (1838-?).
