Cristofaro was born about 1777 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Maria Loreta DiLoreto. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Pasqua Rosa Raffaele (1811-1812), Felice Antonio (1813-?), Pasquale Antonio Raffaele (1816-1817) and Pasqua Rosa (1819-?).
