Maria was born about 1781 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.
Her husband was Cristofaro DiPillo. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Pasqua Rosa Raffaele (1811-1812), Felice Antonio (1813-?), Pasquale Antonio Raffaele (1816-1817) and Pasqua Rosa (1819-?).
