Francesco was born about 1774 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Salvadore DiLoreto but his mother is unknown.
His wife was Angela Maria Leombruni. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Felicia Maria (c1799-?), Anna Antonia (c1803-?), Maria Carmina (1814-1828), Angela Raffaela (c1815-1823), Maria Domenica (1818-1818) and Rocca Antonia (1820-1821).
