Filosina was born about 1814 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the daughter of Emidio DiGiantonio and Pulcheria Pietrantonio.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Domenicantonio DiVincenzo, who she married in ABT 1840 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy. Their three known children were Antonia (1841-?), Giuseppe (1844-1845) and Carmine (1847-1923).

Her second husband was Giuseppe Antonio Pasquale Mangiarelli, who she married in 1852. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
