Pasquale was born about 1790 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of Ansilio DeStephanis and Maria Petrella.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Angela Teresa Petrella, who he married in ABT 1808. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Rocco (c1810-1811), Luigi (1811-?), Rocco Giuseppe Antonio (1814-?), Raffaele (1816-?) and Venanzo Antonio (1819-?).
His second wife was Lucia Rossi, who he married in 10 DEC 1823 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. Their two known children were Vincenzo (1825-?) and Luciano (1827-?).
