Anna was born about 1787 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of Sante DeStephanis but her mother is unknown.

Her husband was Carmine Antonio Scarpone, who she married in ABT 1810. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Vito Antonio (1813-1813), Rocco Antonio (1815-?) and Crocifissa (1819-?).
