Paolo was born about 1792 in Popoli, the son of Concezio DeLuca and Angela Cellini.
His wife was Giovanna Santangelo, who he married in 20 JUL 1815 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. Their eight known children were Pasqua Rosa (1816-?), Venanzo (1818-c1850), Angiola (1821-?), Anna Pelina (1823-1824), Maria Giuseppa (1824-1824), Loreto Antonio (1825-?), Rocco Antonio (1828-?) and Pelino Alessandro (1831-?).
