Pietro was born about 1788 in Palombaro, the son of Carmine D'Angelo but his mother is unknown.

His wife was Giuditta Falcone, who he married in ABT 1810 in Palombaro, Chieti, Italy. Their three known children were Nicola (1812-?), Giuseppe (1818-?) and Carmine (1823-?).
