Maria was born about 1779 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of Pasquale d'Angelo but her mother is unknown.

Her husband was Francesco diSilvestri. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Anna (c1800-?), Raffaele (c1805-1833), Anna Pelina (1812-?), Angela Cristina (1815-c1815) and Domenico (1817-?).
