Cristina was born about 1778 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the daughter of Carmine D'Amico and Rosaria DiFiore.

Her husband was Cesidio Gizzi, who she married in ABT 1803. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Berardino Isidoro (c1804-1838), Dionisia Carmina (1811-?), Sabatino (1812-?), Domenico Sabatino (1815-?), Palma Rosaria (1819-?), Modesta (c1821-1858), Maddalena (c1822-1830) and Maria (1822-?).
