Domenico was born about 1762 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Caterina Palombizio, who he married in ABT 1787. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Angela Rosa (c1791-1811), Maria Cristina (c1792-?), Carmine (c1799-1863), Gaspare (c1800-?) and Michele Angelo (c1805-?).
