Angela was born about 1779 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of Matteo d'Alessandro and Berardina Santangelo.
She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Carmine Gualtieri. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Maria Giovanna (c1802-?), Anna Nunzia (c1808-?), Francesca (c1810-c1812) and Felicia Maria (1812-1822).
Her second husband was Pietro Petrella, who she married on 21 JAN 1819 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy. They had no known children.
