He died on 8 AUG 1886 in Villa Sant'Angelo, L'Aquila, Italy.
His wife was Maria Giovanna Chiola. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Drusiana (c1854-1876), Fiore (c1855-1909), Ferdinando (1858-?) and Luciano (1866-1873).
