Pio was born on 6 MAY 1822 in Palena, Chieti, Italy, the son of Falco Como and Geltruda Campana.

He had three marriages/partners. His first wife was Maria Giacinta Cicala, who he married on 22 JAN 1853 in Palena, Chieti, Italy. Their two known children were Filomena (1853-?) and Giacinto (1853-?).

His second wife was Luisa D'Andrea, who he married on 15 DEC 1875. The place has not been found. They had no known children.

His third wife was Filomena DelBene, who he married on 2 AUG 1856 in Palena, Chieti, Italy. Their only known child was Francesco Paolo (1858-?).
