Marianna was born about 1777 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy, the daughter of Vincenzo Ciampone and Rosaria DiMuzio.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Domenico Passalacqua, who she married in ABT 1810 in Lettopalena, Chieti, Italy. Their two known children were Maria (1811-1812) and Fortunata (c1814-1818).

Her second husband was Giuseppe Martinelli, who she married in ABT 1820. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Filodoro (1821-?), Francesco Paolo (1824-1835) and Crescenzo (1827-<1888).
