Mary E. Gasper, 82, of Youngwood, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, in
Westmoreland Manor, where she was admitted on June 10, 2000. She
born April 25, 1918, in Washington, Pa., a daughter of the late
Joseph and Amelia Palmieri Carrozza. She attended East Ward
Elementary School and graduated from Washington High. She graduat
from Seton Hill College in 1941, where she received her degree as
dietitian. She was an intern at Cincinatti General Hospital, Ohio
She worked in various hospitals in western PA prior to
retirement. She was a member of the Holy Cross Church, Youngwood.

Jennifer and Carmella Carrozza; and a brother, Andrew Carrozza. S
is survived by her loving husband of over 56 years, William Gaspe
two sisters, Ann Lousia of Bridgeville and Lucy Ludovici of Tucso
Ariz.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
