Leonilda was born on 22 OCT 1818 in Palena, Chieti, Italy, the daughter of Michele Gennaro Campana and Maria Lucia Scarci.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Giovanni Sabastiano Rossetti, who she married on ABT 1838. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Germano (1840-?), Francesco Paolo (1843-?), Maria Giacinta (1845-1846), Maria Giacinta (c1847-1851), Maria (1847-?), Felicia (1850-?) and Maria Giacinta (1852-?).

Her second husband was Giuseppe Tranchini, who she married on 19 APR 1858. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
