Pietro was born about 1777 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Palma Rosa DiBenedetto, who he married in ABT 1805. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Rosa Maria (c1807-1832), Maria Maddalena (c1808-?), Crescenzo (1812-?) and Luigi (1815-1819).
