Massimo was born about 1772 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Anna Domenica DeStephanis, who he married in ABT 1805. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Maria Michelina (c1807-1812), Rocco Antonio (1812-?), Domenico Antonio (1815-1815), Michele (1816-?) and Biase Antonio (1819-?).
