Maria was born about 1769 in Pratola Peligna, L'Aquila, Italy, the daughter of unknown parents.
Her husband was Andrea Rizi, who she married in ABT 1788. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Giovanni Pelino (c1790-?), Maria Raffaele (c1790-?) and Angela Maria Giuseppa (c1803-?).
